The Proteus email settings can be used to configure from what email account the system produced emails are sent from. If these settings are not set, we use our own email account (noreply@proteus-work.com).

These are the sort of settings that only the company’s IT team/company will likely have, there are a number of different variations and it’s easy to get these wrong.

After saving the email settings, the system will attempt to send a test email to the logged-in user, this is how we can confirm if the credentials are valid or not.
