  • Custom Fields: add if extra data capture is required when creating databases

  • Access: only Company Admins have access as this is in Admin Console

How to customise Terminology

Navigate to Languages & Labels

  1. Navigate to the Admin Console and select Languages & Labels from the grey menu bar

Edit Terminology

  1. Search for the word you wish to edit

  2. Type desired terminology in the Modified box and repeat for all uses of the word

  3. Select Publish and repeat process for other terminologies

  • Index will filter to all examples of the uses of the searched word

How to add Custom Fields

  • Add Custom Field when creating Company, Contract, Opportunity, Proposal or Project

Navigate to Custom Fields

  1. Navigate to the Admin Console and select Languages & Labels from the grey menu bar

  2. Select Custom Fields from white horizontal submenu

Add Custom Field

  1. Click Add New and enter details

  2. Select Save and repeat process for other Custom Fields

  • Description: this is the description visible to the User

  • Type: select as text field, number, date, percentage, dropdown or radio

  • Module: select where this should appear - Company, Contract, Opportunity, Proposal or Project

  • Required: select to make this field mandatory, or leave empty if this is optional

  • Any Custom Field created can be edited, deactivated/reactivated or deleted by selecting the 3 dots at the right of the table

  • Proteus will not allow Users to deleting a Custom Field that is in use
